Gun Crazy (1950)
Directed by Joseph H. Lewis
Starring Peggy Cummins, John Dall
Description courtesy of The Ambler Theater:
A heated film noir classic about a young man who returns home and hooks up with a carnival sharpshooter named Laurie. Both are infatuated with firearms, which propels the young lovers into a crime spree. Co-written by the blacklisted Dalton Trumbo and noted for the pulpy style of cult director Joseph H. Lewis, GUN CRAZY is famous for the long take during the film’s bank robbery scene.
